SORN rebuttal document issued.

12pm Friday 18th Parent Council delivers Rebuttal Document to London Road. Everyone welcome.

The document answers in detail all the points made by EAC in their consultation document. Click here to download (3mgb). There is also an executive summary letter which presents the main points click here to downloaded.

The planned protest at the official opening of Mauchline school has been postponed. The Save Sorn School group and Sorn Parents Council have decided not to protest at the event this evening (25th Jan) following a request from Mauchline Parents Council.

SORN Primary School to represent Ayrshire in the Scottish Schools Badminton competition 2008

Sorn Primary School as winners of the Ayrshire primary schools Quaich competition will represent Ayrshire in the Scottish Schools Badminton competition in 2008. 

This achievemnet is a clear demonstration of how our young people are meeting the aims of the Curriculum for Excellence and have shown they are:
- successful learners
- confident individuals
- responsible citizens
- effective contributors
